    This is probably one of the best additions to the pagelines store. Great job and a great product. However, I am having trouble viewing it on IE. It works fine on Firefox and Chrome. But it’s not visible on IE. Again, a great product. As soon as I hear about the IE question I’m going to be purchasing.

      I tested the section with IE7, IE8 and IE9 and i can see it working.

      For color and font size you can use the WP Editor to change it when you add a caption. about the square background you need to use a little CSS

    What’s the easiest way to make this a feature slider? We tend to have 5-10 post per day and usually pick a few to be featured on the main page. Is there an easy way to add a post rather than going through all the steps of adding feature?

      Hi Sean,

      For re-order custom post types, Pagelines recommended the “Post Types Order” plugin. with this plugin you can re-order any type of post including the Kenburner Slides.

      You can download it from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-types-order/ or within your worpress admin.

    Is there any way to make the slider to dynamically change in size with the window down to an iphone size. The standard one in pagelines dosen’t look good. Yours is better, but not ideal.

      Sorry No, you can’t, is the main feature of the slider maybe in the next release but not sure about it.

      No, animated gifs are not supported , the slider use canvas to draw the efect with a static image, JPG or PNG.

    Is it a bug?

    Hello, I bought Kenburner-slides, it was generating an error warning every time I upload a file (image, music …), then realized I left an update. I updated, plus the error continues! : (

    Love this slider. However is it possible in the next update to have the transition from black and white to be longer. It would be nice to have more options than 1 – 5. Just a thought.

    1. When I put in a YouTube video- it pulls the YouTube advertisements while playing- any way I can disable that?
    2. Vimeo videos are aligned to the left margin rather than centre, any suggestion how I can fix it?
    3. Can I use a static image rather than the fade/slide effect in some slides?

      No, that is a youtube feature.

      You can set the alignment via CSS

    Hi,

    When I use the ‘wipe’ effect for the captions the bottom part of the text is cut off…

    It is fine with the ‘fade’ command.

    Hi, great section, but I’m running into a problem: After spending time repositioning images, I run into a situation where I begin to get ‘residual’ images within the slider window of a previous image, but stationary and in the background. I then will go into my Media section and delete all previous images I was working with in the set, and I’ll delete the set.. and I start over after uploading two new images… yet now I still get a ‘ghost’ residual image that is stationary in the background. Any ideas how to refresh the slider? Thanks

      UPDATE: I figured it out, I had inadvertently changed the size of the slide window by 2 pixels in height, and when I changed it back it eliminated the ‘ghost’ image. All good now, thanks.

    I have just updated to the latest version of Kenburner (1.2.1) and the latest version of both Pagelines and WordPress. As I did this all at the same time, I am unsure which has caused it, but the Kenburner section is no longer recognised as being installed. When I click install in the store, it will not let me re-install it as it tells me the destination folder already exists. I tried deleting that folder and reinstalling. This allowed me to install it but as soon as it is complete the section is no longer recognised as being installed. Please help ASAP as my website looks horrible without it.

    I cannot believe this can’t be added to the content area of a page template.
    It’s the CONTENT AREA.

    It really can only be added to the Page Templates area?

    Completely unacceptable. Was this just an oversight?

    I want a refund. It’s unusable if I can’t put it in the Content Area of a page template.

      Hi,

      This is a main slider, typically this are used in the header area, if you using this in a content area obviously the size is much smaller and the the effect is not good that’s why the section can be used only in the header area.

      Of course you can ask for a refund, just this is not the place to do that, please go to the pagelines site and open a ticket for that.

      By the way, to activate the slider in the content area you just need to edit 1 line but please feel free to ask your refund.

      If you want to activate in the content area you should add this line:

      Workswith: templates, main, header

      into the section.php file around the line 12

    I have followed your tutorial but for some reason I can only view one caption in the caption set. What am I doing wrong? I even deleted the caption set and made a second one but the same thing happened. Otherwise, I do like this slider. Does it only work with jpeg files? I would like to post new office hours on the slider. Is that possible?

    the kenburner working perfectly on my website. but not at mobile. the slider will not adjust the size of the mobile. interesting is, when the slider is empty it is working properly, if is a picture in the slider it doesn’t work. what do i wrong. thanks for your help.

    Is the Kenburner Slider that is included with Simplicate different. I have noticed the normal slider shows up in Mobile Browsers. The Slider in Simplicate will only show up if the device is in the landscape aspect ratio.
